Pip Tatersall comes from Aberdeenshire in bonnie Scotland.
Currently working at Worthy Down teaching potential officers, Pip still has time to enjoy walking her two dogs, snowboarding and of course, swimming.
Pip’s boyfriend Mike joins her friends and family in thinking ‘Oh no, here we go again!’
Pips new pride and joy is her vintage Nissan Figaro, the cult classic car from Japan. Nissan produced only 20,000 of these beauties between February and September 1991. Only 600 have been imported into the UK. Pips new hobby now is trawling the country for added extras - cup-holder, parcel tray, boot tray, engine........so if there’s anyone out there.........
Aged 32, Pip has served in the AGC(ETS) for 9 years.
Pip bought her beloved car from F1 Autos who have been extremely generous in sponsoring Channel Eagle, and to whom we extend our thanks.
Why are you doing the swim Pip? Because I love a challenge and I have actually always wanted to swim the Channel. I am more than happy that being part of the relay team will fulfill my dream.
What are you most worried about? I think the cold is the thing I worry about most. I’ve been getting lots of handy hints from the Team though and just have to keep my mind off the temperature. I’ve found thinking about shopping lists quite effective!
Pip joined her team mates at the Lake Bala Inter-Service Open Water Championships.
